Hi, I’m Jodie.

Navigating life’s tough moments can feel like a solo journey, but you don’t have to walk it alone.

My path into this work began with my own loss—when my first daughter was stillborn, I struggled to find care that truly made sense to me. The process was overwhelming, and I don’t want anyone else to feel that same isolation, helplessness, or like no one truly understands what they’re going through.

Along the way, I also discovered more about myself. In my mid-thirties, I learned about my own neurodivergence—an experience that brought clarity, self-compassion, and a little bit of “Oh, that’s why I do things that way!” It’s a big part of why I’m passionate about creating spaces where others can embrace their authentic selves, too.

Now, as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Perinatal Mental Health Certified provider (PMH-C), and Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS), I help families and individuals through grief, reproductive trauma, autism in women and AFAB individuals, and major life transitions. Think of me as your supportive guide, helping you navigate tough times with understanding, knowledge, and a whole lot of heart.

How We Work Together

I am a trauma and loss therapist with almost two decades of experience. I support individuals and families navigating big losses — the loss of a child, medical trauma, or identity — as well as the older losses and survival strategies we absorbed in childhood that may no longer be serving us.

My work is grounded in relationship — both the one we build together and the ones that shape your world outside of our sessions.

In our work together, I draw from a range of approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and Somatic Processing. I don't believe healing fits neatly into any single theory, so I work from what actually fits you.

Others would describe me as direct — and yes, I share a lot of information. That's intentional. I believe you need to understand the why before we can meaningfully explore the how or the what. My goal is to help you build a life that genuinely reflects your values.

This is about you — what works for you, what feels right to you, and how we can create lasting change in a way that makes sense for your life.
